Head of Product Design at MPB and Photographer based in Brighton with over 20 years of experience in the Design industry. I empower UX and Design teams, understand the needs and priorities of different stakeholders, advocate for the value of design and build design strategies that align with business needs.

I have previously designed and led design teams at Avalara, Futrli by Sage, Credit Suisse, ITV, Compass Group, Harrods, London MET, BlueRunner Solutions and more.

Gess has proven to be everything we could hope for in an in-house Designer. She has set up process around Sketch, Invision and a recent move to Zeplin. She has been an active voice in the product development process, be it working up wireframes, designs and suggestions for improvement or taking the initiate to research new products from the ground up, delivering effectively business plans ready for refinement and prioritisation by the teams. Gess has guided our contractors, has worked across 7 Scrum teams, 4 PMs and had mentored our Marketing based junior designers. Somehow, she also found the time to be resident Photographer, animator and at all times has been a joy to work with. As a PM, Gess is exactly the sort of person I want on my team.
